The exhibition is based on an anonymously acquired collection of analogue photographs depicting plants from a small garden that had been cultivated over many years. In the exhibition space, the photographs are connected into linear formations. Each image remains visible as an individual object and appears as a fragment of a former whole. Together, they refer to a garden shaped through repeated care and attention. The relationship between human and plant remains inscribed in the images, even though it is not directly visible. A digital plant identification introduces an additional layer. The plants are identified and inscribed into a system of properties, origins, and uses. The garden thus emerges as an open archive whose structure shifts between material image, spatial arrangement, and digital classification, retaining traces of a sustained practice of care, attention, and relationship.
